Just look at these photos, and I’m sure you’ll agree with that it’s a very creative wedding! Every little detail is absolutely fantastic and so inspiring, even if you don’t wanna an art-filled feast, you’ll find something for yourself among these ideas!
So let me introduce to you Jenny and Eamon, the bride and groom. At first it seems that they had an experience of planning weddings, cause everything looks gorgeous and professionally made, but actually it isn’t true, they just knew what they wanted – good beer, good food and good art.
They decided to spend the most of the budget on photography, location and beer. So that’s why they were choosing their wedding venue for a long time. After some very expensive and flavorless venues they found Lacuna Artist Lofts Chicago. This unique venue space and the neighborhood are full of art, rich culture and cool graffiti.
You can see in the photos that there are many DIYs which were created by the bride and groom. Jenny even rented out a studio on site to work on the ceremony backdrop (it was not so easy, cause the backdrop has a size, roughly 9 feet by 15 feet) and get her art show together. As a bridal bouquet Jenny picked up an idea of making a non traditional origami one. For her bridesmaids she created copies of this stylish bouquet instead of fresh flowers.
If you take a look at the photos of the reception tables, you’ll be surprised by stunning décor elements which were made by Jenny, her mom and design studio Jayne Weddings. Her mother created geode slice table toppers and Jenny pasted together fractal geometric paper mache sculptures and made clay pyramids table numbers.
Bride also created big paper mache letters that spelled out their names, so I think that it’s quite a cool backdrop for a photo session too!
I’ve already told you that Jenny worked on an art show, so during the cocktail hour they put on this show with interactive pieces, photography and several various wall hangings for their guests. I’m sure the guests were delighted!
And of course I need to pay your attention to the bridal look that was mix of classics and creativity. Jenny was wearing a gorgeous lace wedding dress from Ines di Santo with original colored veil and sneakers!
Now you can look below at the incredible photos taken by photographers Brad + Jen. I hope you’ll find some ideas for you or just enjoy the moments of Jenny’s and Eamon’s wedding day!
