The beach wedding season is always on because there are lots of adorable places with cool beaches where it’s warm all year round. And today we are sharing one of beautiful waterfront weddings to get you inspired – this one took place in Malibu.
The main color chosen was aqua blue, and there were many details in this color. The ceremony took place on the beach, and the reception was in the groom’s family backyard, which made the celebration more intimate. Water and texture were the key design words. The florals, decor and stationery were inspired by the Malibu landscape. The tables were dressed with fresh colors, and only textural wicker chargers reminded of the beaches. The escort cards were cute succulent ones, similar to those that are found in the surrounding landscape. A usual guestbook was substituted with a hand carved surfboard.
The wedding was pretty much planned around Colleen’s beautiful dress: she was wearing an illusion neckline and back wedding dress with an embellished bodice and an aqua blue skirt that perfectly highlighted the wedding place. The bride completed her look with aqua blue heeled sandals and a braided updo. The groom was wearing white pants and a blue shirt plus a flower necklace, and so did the groomsmen changing deep blue to aqua blue, and the bridesmaids were rocking navy and sea foam dresses.
The wedding cake was a naked one, with some blooms and a calligraphy topper. Get inspired by the pics of this cool wedding below!
