If you love the rosy hue as much as we do, you’re in for a treat! Today’s modern Palm Springs editorial gets a major dose of Moroccan-inspired flair. Featuring real-life married couple, Alexandra and Madison, Loie Photography wanted to capture an imaginary place—somewhere where the dry desert meets the lush jungle.
A stunning invitation suite by Bourne Paper Co. was minimal, with the pattern inspired by the wallpaper of the Pink Cabana Restaurant, and the overall palette complementing the muted desert tones. The metal rose gold chairs from Collective Rentals acted as a perfect accent for the pink exterior wall and the black door of the spa. The stunning lounge setting fit the location the overall aesthetic perfectly. Set against a pink exterior wall, this inviting lounge looks as if it has always been there, which was exactly the point. Combined with the floral design and the crisp lines of the building, we are over the moon with this design concept! The table was adorned with tons of Moroccan-inspired pieces, along with modern Ikebana-inspired florals. The textured cake rounds out the shoot nicely, calling on the black and white elements of the editorial and architectural lines of the property.
Madison and Alexandra eloped while wearing ripped jeans and t-shirts, so when they expressed interest in modeling for the shoot, they got totally different outfits. One bride was wearing a strapless floral applique mermaid wedding dress by Marchesa gown and statement nude and black sparkling wedding shoes. The second bride was wearing a black suit, a shirt, a bow tie and studded brogues.
