Late Summer Mountain Wedding With Boho And Modern Touches

This wedding was a late summer one in the mountains, boho meets modern with earthy tones.

Jessica and Chris’ outdoor wedding at No Business Lodge was a little boho, a little modern, and a whole lot of beautiful from top to bottom! Combing their love for bohemian style, their ability to create impressive DIY projects, and their desire for their wedding day to look and feel timeless, they and their planner from Emily Aitken Events put together one unforgettable celebration in the mountains of Idaho. Let’s take a look at it!

Rust and Thistle Floral took cues from the natural landscape in creating floral designs with an autumnal vibe, most notably for the bride’s textural bouquet and the bridesmaids’ asymmetrical copper hoops. The bride herself made the map, directions, and RSVP cards. She also designed the vellum cover and a detail card. She also printed the envelopes and the attach liners, designed with brushed patterns from artist Dinara May. As a final touch, she wrapped the invitation suites with copper thread and added some greenery. For the favors, the couple wanted something their guests could use in the future that also had some boho tones to remind them of the mountains. So, they went with mini dream catchers made of mini gold rings and cotton rope of colors cream and grey. They also made leather keychains with one side that said, “Idaho,” and one side that said, “ni shea” (the couple’s last names).

The bride was wearing a strapless ballgown with a sweetheart neckline, a lace bodice and a plain layered skirt and a train. The veil was a done one and she was rocking a wavy updo. Her second dress was a red one with a traditional Taiwanese design. The groom also changed a grey suit and a grey shirt with a tie for a black Asian suit.
