Have you heard of the legend of “the red thread”? According to Chinese legend, two people are connected by a red thread and no matter of time, distance, or circumstances can keep them apart. The magical cord, or red thread, may stretch or tangle, but never break. This quite a lovely concept became a base of this wedding featuring tons of embroidery and thread!
The embroidery technique was woven throughout the day: into the invitations, the ceremony backdrop, and even into the reception setting. For the wedding backdrop the stylists welded hoops together with embroidered florals in each circle: the whole work took around 17k stitches—and 10 people worked on it throughout the week—but it was so worth it! the ceremony space was accented with blooms, too. The small rhino lurking in the flowers is not by chance, but rather because the groom collects rhino figurines! Therefore, rhinos served as table numbers, and even the cuffs of the groom were in the form of small rhinos. All about the personalized details! Because florals and embroidery were the main motif of the wedding, colorful thread *tied* everything together. The wedding cake was a white one topped with fruits and berries.
The groom was wearing an emerald suit with a white shirt and a white bow tie. The bride was wearing a very romantic fitting wedding dress with an illusion off the shoulder neckline, embellishments and embroidery. She was rocking an updo and statement earrings.
