Today we are sharing a unique wedding of Nikia, who is Mad Maven Style, this gal knows fashion. She and her love Mark Daoust designed a day that captured their effervescent style, which they describe as Victorian meets Marie Antoinette, with a Southwestern folk twist. Well, because there were so many eye-catching elements—from the wedding party, to their two different wedding looks, all of the pampas grass, and a seriously regal cake, let’s take a look!
The bride was wearing two different outfits: a long puff sleeve lace wedding gown with a plunging neckline and a slight mermaid silhouette. She was wearing a veil, a crown and statement earrings. Her second dress was a boho lace one with cap sleeves and a plunging neckline and she added an oversized floral headpiece and matching earrings. The first groom’s suit was custom designed by the maid of honor and was really Victorian-style. The second suit was a mint-colored one with patterns, and brown boots and a bolo tie added a boho feel to his look.
To tie in the Southwestern feeling for the reception, Tess Made crafted these dried floral and pampas grass pillars. Pampas grass, crystals, and tons of cactus…would you expect anything less? Golden goblets, tons of texture, and the prettiest hues made the tablescape absolutely pop!
The wedding cake was a regal one, it was creamy and blush, decorated with edible gold patterns, geodes, ruffles and other stuff, it was inspired by Victorian style. Get more details of this stunning wedding!
