This neon retro inspired wedding encapsulates everything that’s enticing about a classic Vegas elopement. Let’s enjoy this eye candy!
Seven Magic Mountains is an art installation in the Nevada desert about thirty minutes outside of Vegas – look how bold it is! The juxtaposition of the boldly colored neon rocks against the barren desert landscape is so unexpected and striking and the design team wanted to create a shoot that reflected that. Rather than create something with a traditional desert vibe, the location called for something a little alternative, and the stylists chose Tarantino’s True Romance!
The bride was wearing a cold shoulder beaded lace wedding dress, neutral boots and statement fringe earrings. She covered up with a black leather jacket for a more badass look. The hair and makeup artists created a bold, rocky look and the slicked back hair for an iconic feel. The groom was rocking a pink suit and a neon orange boutonniere for a non-typical look.
The wedding invitation suite was done in bold colors – pink and orange plus some whites and modern calligraphy, it’s very bright. The tablescape was done with a tropical leaf tablecloth and bold florals and petals to highlight the wedding color combo. There were some drinks served especially for the shoot and the wedding cake was a buttercream one, in white and yellow topped with bright blooms. Acrylic chairs decorated with hearts added a bit of edge to the shoot.
