Kelly and Oscar describe their wedding as “modern winter witch themed” one, which is kinda unexpected and very interesting! Their beautifully moody day was inspired by witch practices including herbalism, crystals, tarot and the importance of natural, balanced elements. Wanna take a closer look at it?
The couple explain that having all elements present was very important for both of them: the building had openings in all directions crystals to bring good energy and spirits into the area, herbs to chase away bad energy and spirits, celebrating the cycle of life by having both living and dead pieces.
Their ceremony was held in the yard of Sweetwater Farms, in front of a stunning hexagonal floral structure. Kelly and Oscar’s gorgeous barn setting provided the perfect backdrop for the glamorous bohemian, spiritual feel that they were going for, both for the ceremony and the reception later. The wedding venue decor was boho, woodland and mystic, it definitely enchanted the guests as much as possible. Feathers, antlers, lush blooms in rich shades and greenery made the space charming.
The bride wore a beautiful caped wedding dress in a berry red color and pointed silver heels from ASOS. Her bridesmaids looked incredible in shiny silver or pewter too, having been asked to pick their own outfit that represented them in the color scheme. The groom wore dark grey pants, a grey shirt and a tie plus a velvet burgundy jacket for a chic and non-traditional feel.
In lieu of a cake the couple had shedloads of vegan donuts, which they piled high and feasted upon.
