Today I have something very special for you: it’s a gorgeous wedding in the mountains of Georgia (I don’t mean a state but a small country in the Caucasus). It’s absolutely unique in every detail and it’s sure something that you have never seen before. Let’s take a look.
Khatia and Andrew are from Moscow and they wanted an intimate wedding in the mountains, so they chose Georgia as a destination. The country is at the intersection of Europe and Asia, and thus has a really fascinating cross-cultural architecture, traditions, and fashions. On top of that, it’s home to Caucasus Mountain villages, along with lovely Black Sea beaches. The couple wanted the wedding to be light, stylish, and eco-friendly, with the main color palette consisting of green and white. The ceremony took place in an ancient Christian church right in the mountains – wow!
The reception was rather rustic and very cozy, and done in light colors, with lush white flower centerpieces and greenery and lots of lights. The wedding cake was an elegant white one topped with white blooms and greenery.
The bride was wearing a modern custom-crafted gown, an off the shoulder one with long sleeves, a layered veil and statement earrings. She also changed for a white rose floral crown and carried a white rose bouquet. The groom was rocking a light grey three-piece wedding suit with a shirt but no tie. Look at the fantastic pics and get inspired to get married there!
