Pampas grass is trending at the moment, and this wedding shoot features such details. It’s full of many other gorgeous details, too, so let’s have a look at it to get inspired.
The 12 Events team set up at a private villa in Cape Sounio, Athens, bringing in tons of ideas—like this crazy pampas moon at the altar—that look as if they were pulled straight from a folktale, which was exactly the source of inspiration for the shoot.
The wedding ceremony space was done with comfy chairs decorated with floral terrariums hanging on them. The main showstopper here was a pampas grass altar shaped as a crescent moon, which looked magical in the backdrop of the sea. Just have a look at these layers and textures of foliage, precious metals, clocks and mirrors, bold lavish florals matched with pastels and spellbinding art de la table with unconventional accents.
The wedding dress was an enchanting blue wedding dress with long sleeves, a sheer bodice and pink floral appliques. The groom was rocking black pants, a white shirt and a long white vest, so he reminded of a pirate, a prince or some other character of a fairy tale. The bridal bouquet was made of king proteas, red roses and some berries.
The wedding cake consisted of three different parts: a marble blue one with gold geometry, which was placed on a geometric terrarium, a gold geometric tie and a blue one with hexagon decor. Get inspired by the ideas below and rock something show-stopping, too!
