More and more couples and wedding stylists get inspired by the celestial bodies and the universe for their big days or wedding shoots. Today’s wedding inspiration from Emily Aitken Events and Maggie Grace Photography is inspired by the moon and eclipses.
Set in the snow-covered landscape of Idaho’s Craters of the Moon National Monument, this styled shoot features mid-century modern furniture, brass moon and eclipse decor, geodes, and two wild, winter-inspired bouquets from Just So. Event Floral. The wedding stationery was done in the shades of blue with white calligraphy. The wedding altar was done with wooden beams and some flowers on top.
The wedding tablescape was done with a black runner and napkins, gold flatware and vases and moody florals. In keeping with the theme, Flour Child even created grey and white macarons to represent the phases of the moon, which is a great alternative to a traditional wedding cake.
The bride was wearing a beautiful mermaid dress by Monique Lhuillier with a dramatic train and intricate lace bodice plus a halter neckline. The groom was wearing black pants, a white shirt and cognac shoes. The bride was carrying a black and white bouquet with a lot of texture and black velvet ribbons on it.
