Photograph Hannah Duffy has captured combined love for this stunning trailing bloom to perfection in this shoot from The Hotel Felix in Cambridge. Keeping all the other details very simple and in muted tones lets the grandeur of the venue shine through.
With intimate weddings in mind, this fresh and modern take on a central city wedding took place in Cambridge. The Hotel Felix is a magnificent Victorian Villa, surrounded by spacious gardens and the most dreamy wisteria adorns the exterior! With a select team of suppliers, the shoot is designed to inspire couples who are looking to create a chic, stunning wedding with a few carefully chosen, simple elements.
Flowers played a big part of the design of the day. Flowers adorned the neck of the hotel’s Felix statue as a beautiful way of welcoming guests to the wedding at the entrance to the hotel. For the tablescape the stylists introduced delicate bud vases that held single flower types which allows each flower variety to really sing. Together with the Duchess and Butler tableware, it creates a striking tablescape. A single stem of lily of the valley from the florist’s own garden adorned each place setting.
The cake is from Two Little Cat’s new Bare & Bold line of cakes. Jenni from TLC worked together with Clare Jones Floral design to incorporate some of the florals into the cake. Beautiful and delicious!
The bride wore Erin & Ebony from Naomi Neoh, layering a chantilly lace dress over a corseted underdress for a romantic look and our groom wore a suit from Hackett.
