This wedding was inspired by love to music and nature because the couple, Krysia and Robbie, met at the Australian Youth Orchestra’s National Music Camp in Adelaide. Let’s have a look what they chose for their big day.
The couple wanted to create a space that was actually theirs, and they love decorating with colorful items, so they decided to do the same, and the bride also chose to have a red wedding dress. It was custom made, it was a spaghetti strap wedding dress with a front slit and an additional crop top over it. The groom was wearing a black suit with a grey tie.
Their reception was at Fitzroy Town Hall They arrived after the ceremony to all their guests waiting outside and a brass band which Robbie had hired as a surprise! It was very important to them both to have their families present and involved throughout the day, so everyone came, read poems and made speeches.
Krysia and Robbie did a lot of DIY for their wedding including 260 pompoms! They also handmade the paper confetti cones with bright colored paper, made the name plates for the table settings, collected vintage dinner plates, and bought around 100 different sized and colored glass and pottery vases and small bottles. They used their own furniture as it made it feel like they were relaxing with all the friends and family at their own home. It sounds outrageous but the hall really felt like an extension of the couple’s home with bright colors, plants, pictures and decorations everywhere.
