Today’s styled shoot has all the lush springtime vibes, and will be a perfect source of inspiration for those who are planning weddings for the next year. Inspired by the geometric lines of art deco, along with the vibrant and artistic nature of LA – his editorial has a lot of ideas to steal.
The team wanted to complement the soft, neutral tones while still adding in pops of bold, springtime color. Bringing in all the romance of art deco design, with a touch of fresh whimsy, setting the mood for the day, this modern + whimsical invitation suite was crafted by Valentina Glidden Calligraphy.
I’m just head over heels about the tablescape – it looks so lush and chic! Keeping the florals simple, yet vibrant and exciting, Wild Muse Floral Co. created the gorgeous bold arrangement with purple and red flowers. Don’t those pops of red contrast so nicely with all the gold? Matte grey plates and gold cutlery perfectly fitted this spring vibe table setting and made it look glam and cute.
There were two wedding cakes made for the shoot. The dripping naked cake was crafted by Home Baked LA and the marbleized art deco-inspired confectionary creation is the work of Sweet and Saucy.
The bride was wearing a plunging neckline sheath wedding dress with a strappy low back by the NeWhite. She also tried on an ethereal lace cape over the dress for a gorgeous look.
