Summertime is so amazing! We couldn’t help sharing this gorgeous wedding to celebrate it. Lindsay + Cam’s celebration sure makes a good case for the less is more approach when it comes to design, with every detail taking a cue from the farm itself. This beautiful green and white summer meadow wedding looks amazing, let’s get more details!
It’s about a mile walk from the property’s barn area through the woods and to the meadow where the ceremony was, which sounds like a pretty magical way to make an entrance. The bride wanted the colors and style to reflect the meadow and the nature that surrounded them, and they also wanted the nature speak for itself—greenery, raspberry bushes, birds, crickets, fireflies, trees in the wind, etc. the couple opted for tans, beiges, muted pinks, and lots of greenery – very simple, airy, and romantic. After an intimate ceremony, they invited more friends + fam to join them for the reception on the other side of the property.
The couple handcrafted all the signage leading through the ceremony, the benches, and lots of decor throughout the reception. The bouquet recipe: peonies, garden roses, eucalyptus, scabiosa, stock, wax flower, delphinium, genestra, ranunculus, oregano, lambs ear, poppy pods, rustica, grapevine. There was an assortment of wedidng cakes and bundt cakes topped with fresh blooms and greenery for a cooler summer feel.
The bride was wearing a Grace Loves Grace wedding gown with spaghetti straps and a lace bodice, the bridal party was wearing mismatching neutral dresses. The groom was wearing a beige suit and brown shoes, the groomsmen were wearing beige pants and ties.
