Neon meets bohemian? The unlikely pairing totally comes to life in today’s styled wedding shoot from Danielle Poff and her photography workshop!
The stylists wanted a lot of color and inspired by the bright and modern elements, they decided to do their own take on a neon themed wedding with contemporary pops of yellow, pink, green and orange. Why can’t you have an insanely fun color palette while still keeping the overall design modern and polished?
By adding floral installations and simplistic decor elements, the stylists wanted to show how neon can be used for all kinds of weddings. Tassels were a secondary accent, incorporated on the invitations, pillows, napkins and bridal bouquet, to add a fun, boho hint. Rather than traditional chairs, the team turned to Pieces By Violet to line the alter with modern couches which they adorned with bright pillows to mix refinement with fun touches.
The wedding backdrop looked like a floating bougainvillea bush. The table setting was made with plates + glasses from Anthropologie, the mirrored CB2 flatware, and bold colors. Would be such a fun summer dinner party look! Paper goods are the perfect opportunity to set the design standard for the day and Bowerbird Atelier created this ultra bright letterpress invitations with neon edges to set the tone.
Bringing in color to the ceremony, the bride wore a beautiful marigold skirt by Sweet Caroline Styles, a white lace crop top with long sleeves. Her hair was a twist on a braided crown, and she had a fresh makeup. Scroll down to enjoy the bold pics!
