The cool weather outside inspired this wedding shoot in the forest, it’s ideal for those who love camping and alternative wedding ideas. Erin Wheat Photography captured this alternative wedding shoot with the wild spirit and cozy vibes of the northern Vermont woods in mind.
The wedding stationery was woodland-inspired, in green, brown and black and with forest and animals printed on it. Look at the mustard eyelet dress from For Love and Lemons, it’s just gorgeous! I’ve never seen a dress that reflected woodland spirit more than that. We also admire wispy, romantic wedding bouquet, textural and very sweet, and the bride was wearing the same flowers in her hair – so cute! The groom looked relaxed in a chambray shirt, a vest and velvet brown pants; the couple also rocked pairs of the same boots in the same color.
A simple woodland-inspired arch of rough branches and a macramé piece because who needs much décor when there’s a cool Vermont forest around? Look at the pretty rough wood bench and logs around, this is so much about the forest! The bench was covered with blankets and pillows for comfort.
The treats were also inspired by the woods: berry sweets, a honey drip cake and some amazing sparkling wine, what else do people in the forest need?
The shoot is a great source of inspiration for those two who love wandering in the forests and who feel in harmony with nature and can’t live without adventures.
