This light and airy styled shoot is set on a lavender farm turned wedding venue, and we love the result. It’s intimate and sunny, without being too sugary sweet. The lavender fields are the perfect backdrop for a stunning ceremony and reception!
The wedding venue is also a working lavender farm so with over 12,000 lavender plants growing throughout the venue the beauty and fragrance are unparalleled. As lavender is so cool and romantic, the wedding doesn’t require a lot of décor, so the wedding arch was a simple white one with fabric. The wedding stationery is inspired by lavender branches, and it’s very chic and refined.
The table is a simple Provence-styled one, there’s a narrow fabric table runner, some candles and a white flower centerpiece. Who needs large floral centerpieces when there’s so much lavender around? The dishes and tableware are also very simple but good-looking, every placemat was decorated with a small piece of lavender – French chic is effortless and it’s so easy to see beauty in such amazing pieces.
The wedding cake is also rather simple: it’s a frosted piece decorated with lavender. The signature cocktails had lavender instead of drink stirrers.
Grey looks perfect with lavender, and the groom was wearing a cool dove grey suit with a lavender boutonniere. The bride was rocking an illusion plunging neckline dress and a simple updo, her bouquet was of course made of lavender. So elegant and simple!
The shoot turned out to be elegant, timeless and very romantic, so if you have an opportunity, don’t hesitate to choose a lavender farm as a venue for your big day. Smell that wonderful aroma in!
