If you like unique decor details, colorful clothes, funny ideas, then you’ll like this wedding for sure! At first sight, you can see many bright color elements, but I’m sure you’ve noticed that everything was made with a great taste and looked very harmonious.
So let’s consider all the parts of Lucy’s and John’s wedding story. The bride and groom wanted to choose a venue for celebration that they’ve already known, that’s why they picked up Justine’s Secret House in Austin, Texas. It’s a very calm and intimate place with a vintage touch. It has a wonderful small space for outdoor weddings (or outdoor parts of weddings), so they chose it for the ceremony.
Their guest list was small, cause they wanted to see only family members and close friends.
So how about decor? The whole ceremony area was decorated with a lot of greenery and white flowers. To make it more special and touching Lucy added big white candles in simple vases. You can also see several signs: one is a chalkboard sign and another is at the entrance to the house. As a wedding cake they picked up a naked three round tiered cake decorated with white flowers and greenery from Sweet Treets.
I don’t know how to describe the bridal gown and groom attire. They look so gorgeous and stylish that I’m speechless! Lucy wore a maxi bright floral long sleeved dress with lace decor details from Temperly London. She added marsala ankle boots created by Madewell. The hairstyle by Jody at Swamp Mermaid was very natural, but the makeup by makeup artist from Texas Dela Rosa was with bright accents on lips and eyes. And of course a white and green bouquet made the look completed. The groom wore unique clothes too. John chose an eye-catching blue suit Knot Standard and combined it with a classic button down white shirt and a cool red tie. Besides these original pieces of clothes he wore striped red and black socks with brown leather shoes and a yellow floral boutonniere. If the bride wasn’t in a white dress, then maybe bridesmaids can wear this color of dresses? Yes, it was great idea! Lucy’s bridesmaids wore cute and comfy mini white mix and match dresses from Rent the Runway. And groomsmen picked up classic black suits with blue ties.
Now you can enjoy all photos which were taken by photographer Geoff Duncan. No doubt you’ll like all ideas. Wanna a unique wedding? Now you have really a worthy example!
