All the details of this wedding were perfect: a gorgeous bridal gown, beautiful flowers, a romantic and chic venue, stunning décor! If you look at photos attentively, you will see that all the décor elements are simple but have a special charm and perfectly match each other. And I’m sure that you’ll agree with me: when you are looking at these photos, wanna believe that fairytales are real!
This wedding was quite recently, Megan and Chris got married this May. For their special day they picked up an awesome venue the Separk Mansion in North Carolina. This place has a big space and outstanding views for outdoor weddings or an outdoor part of any wedding. You can also notice that it has retro styled chic golden chandeliers that were matching foor this wedding theme.
Bride Megan is a creative and talented person, she is a calligrapher, so invitations and all other paper goods were made by her. For sure invitations were amazing, she created black, purple and gold ones, so gentle and so touching! Every guest got a watercolored escort card with a light pink silk ribbon at their table with their name calligraphed upon it.
As you can see in the photos below, there were so many flowers and greenery that looked ideal as decorations. Floral designer Melanie of New Creations Flower Co. made incredible flower centerpieces from gentle roses, peonies and greenery for every table and put them into stylish gold vases, decorated bride’s and groom’s chairs with cute olive wreaths. As an addition to all Megan’s details, Melanie created a beautiful floral design using black candles and flowers. A dreamy white four tiered wedding cake with golden touches was made by Wow Factor Cakes.
Now let’s take a look at the bridal outfit and accessories. An airy classic white dress and long veil, what can be more spectacular and beautiful? By the way Megan chose a wedding dress from Ivy & Aster. But I also wanna pay your attention to her shoes: instead of classic style, she picked up watercolor pumps. And yes, this creative idea made her look completed. A neutral makeup and simple hairstyle from Lindsay Regan Thorne emphasized her natural beauty. Groom look was classic: a black suit with white flower boutonniere.
Now you can enjoy every beautiful moment of this wedding. Just look at photos which were taken by Allison Kuhn Photography. And I’m sure that you’ll find an inspiration!
