A long distance engagement, visa issues, and the austere beauty of a tiny black church in the middle of nowhere are just a few of the factors that led Pia and Jamie to run to Iceland and elope. With family and friends scattered around the globe, and wanting to make the most of their precious and limited time together, they quickly fell in love with the idea of an Icelandic elopement.
