This gorgeous modern autumn wedding shoot at Windermere Jetty Museum is filled with dried flowers, stylish fashion and contemporary details.
The team wanted to create a dramatic modern Autumnal look, something that would sit well alongside the beautiful architecture and that would complement the black backdrop of the venue. Picking Posies by Becky foraged and collected the most beautiful golden dried artichokes/ Bracken and Grasses that not only stood out against the black but were a match made in heaven for the model Emily’s gorgeous Auburn hair! Dried florals and grasses are such a trend in the wedding world we were keen to showcase something that would appeal to the style led couple.
L27 Weddings pulled the whole look together and created the most beautiful tablescape, paired with Becky’s dried grasses and Bracken. Lou at L27 also brought in The Little Kendal Cakery who designed the most stunningly beautiful cake, fashioned with a textured surface to look like stone and adorned with delicate pale flowers, a true work of art.
Of course the dresses had to have the wow factor and Shikoba Bride’s gowns were the perfect fit for this shoot, I had kept their black Stevie gown in my mind for a long time, just waiting for the perfect venue and opportunity to display it! All complemented perfectly by these beautiful shoes from Bella Belle. Emma Askew provided her makeup artistry on the day and perfectly complimented the gowns and concept, simple pared-back beauty with a nod to the pretty Autumnal tones used on the eyes. Zara Johnson the hair worked her magic creating two different looks and adorning them with the beautiful jewellery from PS With Love.
