At age 12, Jessica Long entered the international stage at the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, winning three gold medals in swimming. She was the youngest competitor on the U.S. Paralympic Team! After 23 more Paralympic medals, and meeting the love of her life, Jessica’s story brings us here – to her and Lucas Winters’ lovely boho wedding in Baltimore.
J and L began dating 5 years ago, and have a mutual love for outdoor adventures and lots of laughter. The bride’s vision was boho and she wanted neutral colors for almost everything and then she had a few Turkish carpets to give a pop of color. Lots of greenery, too! One of her favorite parts of the decor at the wedding was how each table had amber orange goblets. Each one was different; simple, yet a pop of color. The tablescapes were decorated with candles, greenery table runners and there was a boho woven backdrop plus pampas grass for the sweetheart table. Perry Hall Florist nailed lovely, neutral designs; the wedding arch was decorated with neutral blooms, greenery and pampas grass. Plus, Jessica’s bridal floral crown is warming us right up!
The bride was wearing a lace slip wedding dress that showed off her swimmer’s back, it was simple, yet a statement – an open back with spaghetti straps. The groom was wearing a maroon suit with a black tie. The bridesmaids were wearing soft blush and neutral mismatched dresses and the groomsmen were rocking black suits with black ties, which are classics.
