This wonderful beach wedding of Alexandra and Raoul may seem a styled shoot as it is so beautifully curated. Filled with tropical blooms, lanterns and pouffe’s, plus an adorable sweetheart table decorated with palm leaves and botanical stationery. The whole wedding party complement the decor in coral and jade green dresses, and the bride and groom dazzle in a white wedding suit and floaty wedding dress.
Just one look at this enchanting beach near Barcelona and you can’t help but realize the romance and intimacy of eloping – it’s truly something so special! There were tears, a hand fastening ritual and a Scottish Oating stone tradition which includes holding a stone in their hands whilst they say their vows. The stone is then preserved and placed in the foundations of their new home symbolizing the promises they made to one another.
The couple wanted to break away from the stuff they are used to see, they wanted something different, a touch of tropical and a touch of boho style. They wanted color and a cozy atmosphere, with the beautiful natural landscape of Spain as a backdrop. The rocky beaches gave a beautiful texture and, to bring their vision to life, they went for beautiful pink proteas, dried and fresh florals, colorful velvet pouffe’s and pillows.
Even though Alexandra and Raoul had assisted friends to plan their weddings, and spent hours on Pinterest researching for their own, they knew they wanted to hire a professional to guide them through planning their own elopement wedding. They enlisted the help of the fabulous CheChic Weddings who did a truly wonderful job of visualizing their tropical bohemian theme.
