You can never go wrong with a wedding in one of your very favorite places. Roman has many happy memories from in Goa, India as a kid, while his bride Anna fell in love with the area during their vacations together, that’s why this place was chosen to tie the knot.
Every other detail of their nuptial was steeped in meaning too, from their custom wedding logo and poems to the décor they brought in from Russia. Their colorful ceremony arch was made to resemble a boat for their nuptials on the beach. Anna walked down the aisle with a close friend after riding in on a vintage VW. You’ll see just one of three spectacular hotel venues the couple hosted wedding events in so that they could show guests different parts of the state they loved. Over 150 meters of fabric were sewn and printed to pull off the decor at Sur La Mer Goa. During their wedding weekend, Roman and Anna relaxed with friends at The Cape Goa and organized a portrait session along the cliffs.
The groom was wearing a modern take on traditional Indian outfits in emerald green and orange trainers. The bride was wearing a boho lace Rue De Seine wedding dress with bell sleeves and a halter neckline and tassel earrings. The wedding shoes were substituted with embroidered and embellished black slippers. During the photo shoot on the cliffs she was wearing a delicate boho lace wedding dress with a coverup and the groom changed for a black and white look. Fun fact: it took four hours to adorn Anna’s hand and foot with mehendi.
