The wedding we are sharing today took place at fairtytale-worthy Norfolk venue, Voewood, and featured a winning mix of clever DIY and supplier creativity.
When it came time to plan the wedding, the couple quickly decided on their top priorities for their big day. They wanted a relaxed vibe with an element of boho about it. Everyone kept asking them about the theme, but they didn’t have one. They just chose everything they loved and used a lot of Instagram inspiration! The couple wanted it to feel like a huge family gathering and the enjoyment of the friends and family meant a lot to them.
The couple’s amazing table plan, which was hired, dressed with professional flower arrangements, and adorned with personalized biscuits handmade by the couple, is the perfect example of their blended approach. The ceremony backdrop was the combination of generous florals and greenery, and rustic, draped fabric is just dynamite! The couple found their perfect venue in Voewood in Norfolk. It was a perfect mix of old and new and didn’t feel like a cookie-cutter wedding venue. They knew live music was a must from the start, and they also were sure they wanted a weekend celebration.
Lois chose a floral appliqué wedding dress by Kate Halfpenny for the big day, which ended up performing double duty! It had two parts with just the satin slip worn in the evening. The groom was wearing a navy tweed three-piece suit with a white shirt and a blush bow tie.
