Love all things boho? How about pairing it with rock details? If you like such things, you’ll love this boho-rock wedding shoot at The Engine Works Glasgow.
This wedding shoot was aimed at showing not only new wedding trends and couple but also a stylish car, handmade and designed in Glasgow rings, beautifully styled food and lots of emotions. Being yourself includes natural-looking makeup and hair which are not changing your look too strongly during the day. Being unrecognizable during the wedding day is not a good thing. The team kept the shoot in a rustic, rock-boho style which many of us absolutely adore. Fairy lights on the floor, mixed patterns of carpets, glass and china with textures of beautiful (no foliage) flower compositions. There were used lots of dried grasses, wheat and dried poppies as a base and accented these with feathery soft pink astilbe, roses and mauve lilac flower for a pop of colour. The perfect venue was ‘The Engine Works‘ brand new place on a wedding map of Glasgow. The key to making the styling work was very strict color palette including plenty of black. The stylists used trendy pompom confetti, handpainted signs and leathery jacket as well as ombre handmade veil.
The wedding dessert table featured the main cake covered with chocolate ganache and hand-painted with buttercream, a smaller semi-naked cake decorated with fresh flowers, cakesicles, lollipops, cupcakes and a handmade doughnut wall with big neon style ‘YUM’. Get more of this beautiful shoot below!
