Scotland is a gorgeous place to tie the knot, especially if one or both of you have Scottish origins. But we are used to see shoots in Scottish castles, all those plaid prints and other traditional stuff and this wedding shoot is a fresh and modern take on traditional Scottish aesthetics, let’s take a look!
This shoot is vibrant, edgy, fun and original! An enchanted Scottish Edwardian home sets the backdrop for it and there’s a gorgeous couple clad in leather and plaid. The groom was wearing a super elegant look with plaid pants, a black tux with a sculptural bow tie with gold touches – that hint on Scottish heritage is amazing! The bride was rocking a tulle skirt and a crop top with fringe and cap sleeves. She was also rocking black tassel earrings, black boots and a black leather jacket. Her bouquet was done in deep purple, dusty pink and orange blooms – a moody feel is a very edgy idea!
The wedding reception table was done in ocher and black for a super trendy feel. Black glasses, candles, cutlery and graphite grey napkins contrasted the bright tablecloth creating a chic moody look with a fall touch. The wedding cake was a moody geode one, done in black and with blush and greyish geodes – another trend that was incorporated. You may also see bold pink cupcakes with edible gold glitter, for a contrastng touch.
