Wedding planner Kimmie and her guy Scott were 6 months away from their wedding, with venue Rancho Las Lomas and most vendors locked down (including her wedding dress!) when they found out they were expecting their first baby. But instead of changing plans, planning a wedding with baby in mind made every detail so much more meaningful and focused.
The couple decided to pull it off and still go for a wedding of their dreams incorporating their baby. Being pregnant forced the bride to slow down and just know everything was going to be just how it was supposed to be.
The wedding dress was a mermaid gown with a slit by Grace Loves Lace, and the bride had purchased it before she found out she was pregnant. But as the dress was made of stretch lace, it perfectly fit her baby bump and looked cool!
Creating a color palette that complemented the venue made it easy to keep things cohesive, especially since Rancho Las Lomas has a lot in bloom along the property. The stylists went with this navy hue accented with bougainvillea pink throughout. Kimmie also wanted to make sure the centerpieces had a ton of texture, so Craft Blooms incorporated lots of greenery in each arrangement.
The couple decided to incorporate their baby’s gender reveal into their rehearsal dinner, so their closest friends and family got to experience this special moment the night before.
