Feeling like a bit of folksy Sotuh American flavor and alpacas? Then this amazing wedding will inspire you a lot. This wedding had a bright wedding arch, alpacas, handpicked textiles from Peru for napkins, cute pins and even snow!
Ara and Jorge wanted to their wedding to be a celebration, rather than a formal setting. Jorge is from Peru, so they wanted to infuse his South American heritage into their day. The color palette was filled with bright and vibrant colors, while keeping an elegant and memorable theme.
The bride designed the wedding signs which they got printed and placed into some Kmart frames which was a cheap hack. She also designed the table numbers, place cards etc herself and had them printed. The couple went to Peru to source Peruvian textiles for the napkins. They chose the fabrics and got them sewn down. They also purchased our small pin giveaways from the markets there. The wedding cake was a white one decorated with bright blooms.
The wedding dress was simple and but elegant style, mermaid cut, with a big bow on the back which was kinda quirky and reflected the bride’s personality. The groom was wearing a black suit, a white shirt and a black bow tie. The bridesmaid, the sister of the bride, was rocking a very catchy white gown with a high neckline and black scallop embroidery.
