This wedding is a sun filled hot summer one, with laid-back vibes and love to travel, a relaxed day with all the friends and family. The couple had a butterfly theme, which is unique, let’s take a look how they pulled it off.
Chaucer Barn was the wedding venue the couple chose, their eyes were opened to the magic this truly beautiful place beheld. Every detail had clearly been thought about, and although Chaucer Barn is described as a ‘blank canvas,’ the easel it is held up by is mesmerising. The couple had 79 guests and the wedding took a year to plan.
The wedding was very much DIY from start to finish. The wedding was very much DIY from start to finish. The groom’s Aunt and sister-in-law made the bouquets and arranged the flowers, the flowers were grown in the bride’s mum’s garden, we toasted our marriage with bubbles in personalized mugs which we had hidden under the guests ceremony chairs in memory of Jade’s mum who loved mugs of tea and enjoyed a glass of fizz. The bride’s sister made the ‘cheesecake’ wedding cake, carefully selecting and arranging the chesses and decorating it with love! The family and friends helped set up the evening buffet. The couple made a map seating plan and we chose countries they had travelled to together as their table names, with photos of the couple in those countries on the tables.
The bride was wearing a chic lace mermaid wedding gown with a V-neckline and thick straps, the groom was rocking a butterfly printed shirt and a grey suit with a waistcoat. The bridesmaids were wearing dusty pink maxi dresses with lace bodices. Take a look at the cool wedding pics below!
