This color combination is one of my all time favorites! It perfectly combines two of the very popular in weddings colors – purple and mint, which are traditionally used in different seasons: mint is incorporated mostly into spring and summer weddings, while purple is a fall-time favorite. Together these two colors look contrasting and very bold creating a very refined and unusual combo. Many of future brides- and grooms-to-be prefer to choose one of them as a leading color, and yet I’ve never seen a real wedding designed using this color combination (except for one styled shoot). So, why not? I love this color palette not only because it’s really unique, but because it can be so various, depending on what purple and mint shades you’re going to use and which of these two colors will prevail over the other. I can imagine a dark purple winter wedding with few splashes of mint here and there as well as I can imagine sweet and light lavender and minty blue summer wedding.
